Living a Zombie Dream - 1994. Starring Amon Elsey, Frank Alexander, Michelle White, and Mike Smith. 

Living a Zombie Dream is a surreal dreamscape dealing with revenge and then more revenge. Haunted by his actions, a man believes he is turning into a zombie.

Living a Zombie Dream in 2023

A newly remastered version of Living a Zombie Dream was finished in 2023. The new version is a different cut, with a new structure. The story remains the same but plays out slightly altered. Since the movie involves dream states, the new structure is a bit loose, floating between the ideas that affect the protagonist. 

Also new in the 2023 version is the sound and music. The old score was completely deleted and a new one created. There are many new sound effects and soundscapes in the movie, creating a much more surreal atmosphere than what was in the original version.

There is also a lot of clean up of the footage. Everything has been digitally enhanced and brightened. The scenes are clearer, the blood is redder, the nightmares more intense.

The 2023 version is more in line with what the director had originally intended; a surreal landscape of guilt, remorse, and revenge that will haunt your dreams, both asleep and awake.
